Dr. Basak Yalcin

Prof. Dr. Basak Yalcin, born in Çorum in 1970, is a medical professional specialized in Dermatology. His academic foundation was laid at Çorum Atatürk High School, followed by a medical degree from Hacettepe University English Faculty of Medicine, completed in 1994. His specialization in Dermatology was conducted at the same university between 1994 and 1999.

Dr. Yalcin's professional experience includes positions at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Baylor College of Medicine Dermatology Clinics in Texas, USA, from 1999 to 2001. His focus during this period was on allergic-immunological diseases of the skin and dermatosurgery.

In the realm of academia, Dr. Yalcin has been associated with Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University from 2010 to 2020. He has also worked at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital (2001 - 2019) and Ankara City Hospital (2019 - 2020).
