About Doctor Baris Cakir
Dr. Baris Cakir born in Adana in 1975, he embarked on his medical journey at Çukurova Faculty of Medicine in 1993. His time at Çukurova Electric Anatolian Technical High School was influential as it ignited his interest in hands-on craftsmanship, which later translated to his surgical precision.
In 1999, Dr. Cakir pursued his specialty in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Kartal Training and Research Hospital. It was here he ventured into microsurgery, executing close to 500 microsurgical operations. Part of his work revolved around researching fingertip breakouts in children. Dr. Cakir was also instrumental in devising a novel "vessel suturing technique" which he presented at a national congress in 2004, where his work received notable acknowledgment.
Adding another feather to his cap, Dr. Cakir also focused on muscle movements concerning cleft lip repairs. The muscle suture technique he introduced was recognized and lauded at a national level. Apart from his in-depth research and surgical practices, he sought to widen his knowledge base, spending a month at the Media Park clinic in Cologne, Germany, under the guidance of Dr. Serdar Eren.
Believing in continuous learning, Dr. Cakir delved into the world of art, focusing on sculpture and its correlation with aesthetic surgery outcomes. He pursued studies in Sculpture at various universities and is under the tutelage of Yusuf Başoğlu. Currently, Dr. Cakir continues his practice in Nişantaşı, balancing his work and family life as a proud father of two.

I'm a Dutch plastic surgeon with a special interest in nose operations. I had the honor to visit Dr. Barış Çakır and join him in the operating room for four days. Since he is internationally seen as a true master in nose surgeries, it was for me an opportunity to learn a lot. I can say that after four days I'm deeply impressed and truly amazed by his personality and by his skills. He is an excellent teacher and his relationship with his patients is very understanding and caring. His operations are done with meticulous technique and extreme eye for detail. This makes that even the most difficult nose will turn out wonderful. He does not settle for suboptimal results and really takes his time to obtain a perfect nose.
