Dr. Banu Taskin

Dr. Banu Taskin obtained her medical degree from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2002. Subsequently, she assumed a position as a research assistant in the Dermatology Department of the same institution.

In 2009, Dr. Taskin earned her specialization in Skin and Venereology. Over the years, she garnered experience across various dermatological domains, including Dermatological Surgery, Dermato-Cosmetology, Dermatological Allergy, Dermoscopy, and Phototherapy. A significant part of her research during her specialization revolved around the "Toluidine Blue Application Method in Biopsy Samples for Detecting Dysplastic and Malignant Changes in Patients with Oral Lichen Planus."

For a span of five years, Dr. Taskin contributed to the 'Oral Mucosa Diseases Council', a collaborative initiative of the ENT Department, Oral Diagnosis and Radiology Department, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Departments.

Her commitment to the field led her to Istanbul Bilim University between 2013 and 2017, where she undertook both educational responsibilities and patient care within the Group Florence Nightingale Hospitals.

From 2018 to 2021, Dr. Taskin extended her expertise at VKV American Hospital and Koç University Hospital. Since January 2021, she has been offering services in her clinic. Her areas of practice encompass General Dermatology, Aesthetic Dermatology, Dermatological Surgery, Laser Treatments in Dermatology, Dermatological Allergy, and Dermatoscopy. She also actively participates in both national and international training programs and meetings to stay abreast of the latest advancements in dermatology.
