Dr. Atilla Kaya, born in 1961 in Ceyhan, Adana, embarked on his educational journey in Malatya, where he completed his primary and secondary studies. Pursuing higher education led him to Ankara, where he enrolled in Ankara University's Faculty of Medicine in 1980, concluding his studies in 1986.

Upon graduation, Dr. Kaya's early professional commitments began in the Nusaybin district of Mardin at the Akarsu Village Health Center in 1987, followed by a role at the Ankara Gölbaşı Municipality Medical Office in 1988. His pursuit of specialization in general surgery commenced in the same year at Istanbul's Samatya SSK Hospital, now known as the Istanbul Training and Research Hospital. This intensive period of training spanned from 1988 until 1993.

Dr. Kaya's career following his specialization had him stationed at the Ankara Elmadağ State Hospital, starting in 1994.
