About Doctor Arzu Akcal

Dr. Arzu Akcal commenced her medical studies at Istanbul University's Cerrahpaşa Medical School and subsequently undertook specialized training in plastic surgery at the Sisli Etfal Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul. This foundational training equipped Dr. Akcal in various aspects of reconstructive and aesthetic surgeries, ranging from facial procedures to those of the breast and body, and extending to specific areas such as microvascular and hand surgeries.

In her commitment to medical education, she lectured and mentored plastic surgery residents at Akdeniz University and was recognized as an Associate Professor in 2017. She also observed different methodologies at Stanford University to further her understanding in the field of plastic surgery.

Presently, Dr. Akcal operates her plastic surgery clinic in Antalya, emphasizing a patient-focused approach. 

Her academic journey includes years 1997 to 2003 at Istanbul University's Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine and a subsequent association from 2003 to 2010 with the TR Ministry of Health, Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital.
