Dr. Ali Ozdek

Dr. Ali Özdek, born in 1970 in Polatlı, Ankara, is a specialist in Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT), and Head and Neck Surgery. He completed his high school education at Istanbul Atatürk Science High School in 1987 and graduated from Hacettepe University's English Faculty of Medicine in 1994.

In 1998, after completing his specialization in Otorhinolaryngology at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Ozdek began his professional journey in the field. His academic progression led him to attain the titles of Associate Professor in 2004 and Professor in 2011. Recognized by the Ministry of Health in 2013, he also holds a specialization in Oral, Facial, and Maxillofacial Surgery and is pursuing a doctorate in audiology.

Dr. Ozdek's career includes tenures at various medical institutions. From 1998 to 2005, he worked at the ENT Clinic of SB Ankara Training and Research Hospital, followed by roles at the SB Dışkapı Training and Research Hospital until 2014. Additionally, he has served in educational capacities within these institutions.

Internationally, Dr. Özdek has participated in observer programs at notable clinics in the USA, Italy, and Germany, focusing on areas like Ear Surgery and Cochlear Implantation. His commitment to medical education is evident from his involvement in the National Newborn Hearing Screening Program and the International Endoscopic Ear Surgery Study Group.

In his administrative roles, Dr. Ozdek has contributed to the Otology and Neurootology Association and is a member of various medical associations.

His scholarly contributions include over 100 articles in scientific journals and participations as a speaker at numerous conferences.

Post-2015, Dr. Ozdek has been practicing in his private clinic while continuing his scientific research. He is married to Professor Dr. Şengül Özdek, an ophthalmologist, and they have two children. He is proficient in English.
