About Doctor Akin Yucel
Dr. Akin Yucel initiated his foundational studies at TED Ankara College, proceeding to Ankara Science High School. His medical journey began at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, where he earned his Medical Doctor degree in 1987.
Subsequent to this, Dr. Yucel undertook specialized training at Istanbul University's Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in the Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. As part of his extensive training, he garnered experience at England's Wexham Park Hospital in 1989 and further expanded his knowledge at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA, in 1992. By 1994, Dr. Yucel successfully completed his specialization, marking his expertise as a Plastic Surgery Specialist.
Dr. Yucel's commitment to medical education and advancement is evident in his service record. From 1994 to 1996, he was instrumental in shaping the Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine as its Founding Faculty Member, Department Head, and Assistant Professor. His association with Istanbul University's Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine began in 1996, where he held various esteemed positions, advancing to the role of Professor in 2008.

I have had the privilege of undergoing multiple surgeries with the incredibly talented Prof. Dr. Akin, and I cannot recommend him enough. My first experience with him was in 2004 when he performed a whole-body liposuction and breast implant surgery under the muscle, which took a total of 5.5 hours. The results were flawless, and there were absolutely no complications. I was so impressed by his skill, professionalism, and attention to details so I returned for additional procedures later on. Dr. Akin performed a nose job (rhinoplasty) and another liposuction to further shape my body, and once again, the results exceeded my expectations.
