About Doctor Akif Mehmetoglu
Dr. Akif Mehmetoglu was born in Azerbaijan in 1983. His educational trajectory began at Bursa Işıklar Military High School from 1997-2001 and continued at the Military Academy until 2005. To enhance his linguistic abilities, he spent a year (2005-2006) at Middle East Technical University's preparatory department, focusing on English.
Between 2006 and 2012, Mehmetoglu pursued his studies at Istanbul University's Faculty of Medicine and received his title of Doctor of Medicine. Following this, he specialized in 'Skin and Venereal Diseases', concluding in 2016 with a thesis on “Duration Of Biological Therapy Of Patients with Psoriasis”.
In 2014, Mehmetoglu participated in the Dermatooncology meeting in Baku, presenting on various dermatological topics. His areas of research encompass dermatosurgery, skin cancer surgery, and non-surgical aesthetic procedures, among others.
Currently, Mehmetoglu practices at the Private Akif Mehmetoglu Clinic in Levent, Istanbul.
