Dr. Ahmet Altintas

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Altıntaş is an established professional in the field of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, based in Istanbul. His medical journey commenced at Istanbul Cerrahpasa Medical School, where he graduated in 2002. Afterward, he undertook his residency at the Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital, specializing in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

Upon the completion of his residency, Dr. Altıntaş pursued further education in facial plastic surgery under the Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. His interest in this sub-specialty is also reflected in his active involvement in various seminars and educational programs, where he has been a participant, a speaker, and an instructor.

Dr. Altıntaş's expertise spans various areas. He has performed operations involving rhinoplasty, facial plastic surgery, maxillofacial surgery, snoring surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, and robotic surgery. His work has been recognized by the Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, where he was granted the Proficiency (Board) Certificate after successfully passing the proficiency exam.

He has made contributions to the field through his articles and case reports published in national and international journals. Dr. Altıntaş is affiliated with professional organizations, being a member of both the Turkish and European Society of Plastic Surgery.
