I had a second rhinoplasty
I had a second rhinoplasty, and I've observed that the bump that was fixed during the initial surgery has returned. Is this scenario feasible? After the initial surgery, my nasal bridge wasn't defined, and the tip of my nose was large, accompanied by asymmetrical swelling. Consequently, the septum area was addressed in the second surgery. Presently, my nose has bands, yet the natural curve is entirely absent. I'm uncertain whether this issue stems from swelling or an error. My doctor asserted that he didn't perform any bone manipulation during the surgery, but it appears he did. What implications does this discrepancy have?
Hi. Get well soon. In some nasal structures, the need for a second operation is normal. It is necessary to wait patiently, a few weeks, in order to be able to make an estimated preliminary assessment. 9 months -1 year is the average final result time. Follow your doctor's advice. Most likely, there may be edema (swelling) caused by a little touch to the rasp/cartilage area of the back of the nose, you mentioned. If necessary, you can also consider inspection. Have a nice day. Stay healthy.
hello It is difficult for us to comment because we do not know what technique the intervention on the nose is done. We need to examine you.
Hello get well soon. If the septum has been tampered with, the middle roof has collapsed and the bone roof has remained relatively high, which is usually the reason, consult your doctor again
