Indentations on Three Parts of My Nose After Cortisone Injections

It’s been about a year and three months since I had nose surgery and thick skin. I've had four cortisone injections, and now I'm left with several indentations. I feel depressed and often find myself crying. The indentations are clearly visible above the tip of my nose and on the bone beside my nose.

Hello,
I am sorry to hear that you are facing such issues after your nasal surgery and cortisone injections. Indentations from cortisone can sometimes result from tissue breakdown at the injection sites, which can be more pronounced in thicker skin. This can understandably affect both your appearance and emotional well-being.
The first step in addressing this is consulting with a specialist plastic surgeon. A thorough evaluation of your current condition could lead to appropriate treatment options such as fat injections, fillers, or even corrective surgery to improve the appearance of the indentations.
Remember, your feelings are valid, and it's important to seek the best solution for your recovery. I hope you find relief soon and feel better both aesthetically and emotionally.

Hello, I'm really sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing after your injections. Cortisone, while effective for reducing swelling, can sometimes cause tissue atrophy, especially in sensitive areas like the nose. It's important to address these indentations with a skilled plastic surgeon who might recommend treatments like fillers or even revision surgery to correct the irregularities. Hang in there, and don't hesitate to seek support for your emotional well-being too.

Hey there, dealing with post-surgical complications like this can be really tough, both physically and emotionally. I had a similar experience with cortisone injections causing depressions in the skin. What helped me was consulting with a dermatologist who specialized in cosmetic procedures. There are several non-invasive options like hyaluronic acid fillers that can help fill out these depressions and smooth out the skin's appearance. It might be worth discussing these options with your doctor.

Hi, I'm sorry you're facing this challenge. It's important to know that you're not alone and many people go through similar issues post-cosmetic procedures. It sounds like you might benefit from a consultation with a reconstructive surgeon who can offer solutions for the indentations caused by the cortisone injections. There are several effective treatments available that can improve the look of your nose. Keep your spirits up, and take it one step at a time.

could using fillers and laser treatments make my nose bigger unintentionally?

I'm considering fillers and laser treatments, but I'm worried they might unintentionally increase the size of my nose. Can you advise if these procedures pose any risk of altering the appearance of my nose in a way that I don't want? I want to ensure that any treatment I pursue enhances my features

Should I go for nose surgery or just get fillers?

My nose seems too big for my face, and I'm not a fan of the bulbous tip and wide ridge.
